BENELLI TNT 899 Sport (2011-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2011, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli TNT 899 Sport, a naked, powerful, and aggressive-looking motorcycle created by Benelli in 2010. It was one of the most powerful 900cc-class production motorcycles at the time.

The 2011 model was delivered in the same shape and form as the previous one, featuring the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without significant modifications whatsoever. The bike was available in three color schemes, orange, white, and black.

As for the power figures, the 2011 Benelli TNT 899 Sport had its heartbeat set by an 899cc four-stroke liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine mounted at its core, delivering an output power of 131 hp with a peak force at 9,500 rpm and 89 Nm (66 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.

Suspension-wise, the bike packed a 50 mm adjustable inverted Marzocchi fork with 120 mm travel on the front and an adjustable shock absorber with 120 mm travel on the rear, offering excellent handling capabilities.

As for the braking power, the 17-inch wheels were fitted with two 320 mm brake discs clamped to four-piston calipers on the front and a 240 mm brake rotor with a dual-piston caliper on the rear, providing excellent stopping power.

In the visual department, the bike had standard fittings, like a fork-mounted headlight, side panels with integrated turn signals, a two-piece dual seat, a tree-into-one exhaust system with a silencer under the seat, and five-spoke alloy wheels.
