BENELLI TNT 899 Sport (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2010, the Italian motorcycle maker introduced the Benelli TNT 899 Sport, a naked sports motorcycle created by Benelli as one of the most powerful 900cc-class production motorcycles available on the market at the time.

The bike's aesthetic department was characterized by standard features, such as a fork-mounted headlight, side panels with integrated turn signals, a two-piece dual seat, a tree-into-one exhaust system with a silencer under the seat, and five-spoke alloy wheels.

For suspension, the motorcycle packed a 50 mm adjustable inverted Marzocchi fork with 120 mm travel on the front and an adjustable shock absorber with 120 mm travel on the rear, offering excellent handling capabilities.

The motorcycle's 17-inch wheels were fitted with two 320 mm brake discs clamped to four-piston calipers on the front and a 240 mm brake rotor with a dual-piston caliper on the rear, providing excellent stopping power.

The 2010 Benelli TNT 899 Sport was set in motion by an 899cc four-stroke liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine mounted underneath the fuel tank, delivering an output power of 131 hp with a peak at 9,500 rpm and 89 Nm (66 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.

All the power generated by the powerhouse was converted into motion by a six-speed manual gearbox controlled by a wet multi-disc clutch and sent to the rear axle via a final chain drive, launching the bike to a top speed of 235 kph (146 mph).
