BENELLI TNT 899 Century Racers Limited Edition (2009-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2010, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Benelli TNT 899 Century Racers Limited Edition, a limited-edition motorcycle created to celebrate 100 years of manufacturing. The special edition TNT was also made in the 1,130cc version.

Both special edition motorcycles were fitted with a six-speed transmission, high-spec suspension components from Marzocchi and Sachs, Brembo brakes, and special touches like a special paint job inspired by Renzo Pasolini's Benelli race bikes of the 1960s and Alcantara seats.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard fittings, such as a fork-mounted headlight, a two-piece dual seat, a three-into-one exhaust system with a muffler under the seat, a side stand, and five-spoke alloy wheels.

The bike was built around a steel tube trellis frame with aluminum alloy castings. The suspension system housed a 43 mm Marzocchi inverted fork on the front with 120 mm of travel and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear with 120 mm of travel.

As for the braking power, the bike's wheels were fitted with two 320 mm brake discs on the front and a 240 mm brake disc on the rear. Four-piston calipers squeezed the front rotors, and the rear was clamped to a dual-piston caliper.

As for power, the 2010 Benelli TNT 899 Century Racers Limited Edition had its heartbeat set by an 899cc four-stroke liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine that delivered an output power of 118 hp at 9,500 rpm and 88 Nm (65 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.
