BENELLI TNT 899 (2008-2009) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2008, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Benelli TNT 899, a powerful naked motorcycle that suited various riders with its aggressive design complemented by high-end features.

The Benelli TNT was a road motorcycle derived from the Tornado Tre 900 super sports motorcycle, which was presented in 2004 and continued production until 2016. It was made In different versions with different displacements.

Its TNT designation was an acronym for "Tornado Naked Tre." Tornado came from its engine and frame derived from its faired sister, Naked from the lack of fairings, and Tre from its three-cylinder engine. In addition, it packed the same frame as the Tornado Tre model but a different swingarm.

The Benelli TNT was available in 1,130 and 899cc displacements and was made in different versions, such as Sport, Sport EVO, Cafe Racer (TNT 1130 and TNT 899), and Titanium, R160, R, 899, and Century Racer (TNT 1130 and TNT 899) versions.

The 2008 Benelli TNT 899 was set in motion by an 899cc four-stroke liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine mounted at its core, delivering 120 hp with a peak force at 9,500 rpm and 88 Nm (65 lb-ft) torque at 8,000 rpm.

As for the visual department, the motorcycle was characterized by standard features, like a dual headlight unit with a small wind deflector mounted on top, a one-piece dual seat, a three-into-one exhaust system with silencer mounted under the seat, and five-spoke alloy wheels.
