BENELLI BX 505 Enduro (2007-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Benelli BX was a motorcycle produced by Benelli in 2009, and it continued production until later that year due to the company's economic problems. The bike was made in collaboration with Vertemati.

The motorcycle was presented at the 2006 EICMA Show, but its first appearance in the market occurred in 2009, with a few units made especially for several motocross teams. It was available in three versions, Cross, Enduro, and Motard, each with a distinct displacement.

In 2009, the Italian motorcycle maker launched the Benelli BX 505 Enduro, a middle-weight motocross machine with almost the same appearance as the 449 Cross but a slightly larger engine that delivered more power.

Visually, the bike had standard features, such as a high-mounted front fender, a small headlight integrated into a small cowl, a single seat, a single exhaust system, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

For suspension, the motorcycle packed a 50 mm inverted, fully adjustable telescopic fork on the front with 310 mm of travel and a fully adjustable Sachs shock absorber on the rear with 310 mm of travel.

In the performance department, the 2009 Benelli BX 505 Enduro had its heartbeat set by a 505cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivered an output power of 60 hp at 8,500 rpm and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) torque at 5,750 rpm.
