The Benelli BX was a motorcycle manufactured by Benelli in 2009, and it continued production until later that year due to the company's economic problems. The bike was made in collaboration with Vertemati.

In addition, the bike was presented at the 2006 EICMA Show, but its first appearance in the market occurred in 2009, with a few units made especially for several motocross teams. It was available in three versions, Cross, Enduro, and Motard, each with a distinct displacement.

In 2009, the Italian motorcycle maker launched the Benelli BX 449 Cross, a middle-weight motocross that suited those riders searching for a balance between power and agility.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard fittings, like a high-mounted front fender, a small headlight integrated into a small cowl, a single seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, and wire-spoke wheels shod with off-road tires.

The bike's suspension system comprised a 50 mm inverted, fully adjustable telescopic fork on the front with 310 mm of travel and a fully adjustable Sachs shock absorber on the rear with 310 mm of travel.

As for the power figures, the 2009 Benelli BX 449 Cross boasted 55 hp with a peak force at 9,500 rpm and 45 Nm (33 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm from a 449cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine managed by a fuel injection system.
