The Benelli 354 RS was a middle-weight motorcycle manufactured by Benelli in 1979. The bike was powered by a 345cc four-cylinder engine and was created to suit riders of different ages and experience levels.

In 1979, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli 354 RS, a motorcycle with standard features, such as a round headlight, analog instruments, a one-piece, two-up seat with a passenger grab rail, a four-into-two exhaust system with a silencer on each side, a side stand, and wire-spoke wheels.

It was built around a tubular steel frame with a hydraulic telescopic fork handling the front-end suspension and a dual-sided swingarm with two side-mounted shock absorbers handling the rear-end suspension.

As for the stopping power, the motorcycle packed a single disc on the front and a single disc on the rear, offering optimum braking performance.

Regarding power, the 1979 Benelli 354 RS had its soul brought to life by a 345cc four-stroke air-cooled four-cylinder engine fed by four 20 mm Dell'Orto carburetors, boasting 38 hp with maximum strength at 10,200 rpm.

The power generated by the engine was sent to a five-speed manual gearbox, crafted and sent forward to the rear end by a final chain drive, launching the motorcycle to a top speed of 145 kph (90 mph).
