Yesterday we gave you the very first images with a pre-production prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake (X117) variety.
Though a bit grainy, you could see the somewhat expected overall shape and details with the new model, but today we bring you a batch of slightly better spy photos, taken at the same testing facility as the ones from yesterday.

From behind the not-so-heavy camouflage we can see that this is the CLA 250 with the AMG Sport package, which will most likely be the top of the range model until the CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake version arrives a few months later.

Speaking of which, the fifth and final member of the Mercedes-Benz MFA (Modular Front Architecture) platform depicted in the photos bellow will be most likely unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, with the market launch to take place in the summer.

Considering that station wagons aren't usually best sellers in the land of the free, there is little chance that the Shooting Brake version of the CLA will be sold in the US, but nothing is certain as of yet.
