Volvo has enhanced its Polestar offering for 2016, and the Swedish brand has unveiled its latest performance products for current models.
Customers of the V40, V60, S60, and XC60 models will be able to order newly developed enhancements from the Polestar range, including chassis components, wheels, exhausts, interior elements, and exterior details. The range of passenger compartment parts includes special Polestar Pedals, Gear knobs, and aluminum door sills.

For the exterior of selected Volvo models, clients can get exhausts, air diffusers, dampers and other suspension components, mirror caps, 19-inch and 21-inch alloy rims, and more.

The idea behind the new Polestar performance parts for Volvo models is providing the customers with a customizing solution that can be accessed at the time of order or after the vehicle has been delivered.

Unlike aftermarket applications, the parts from Polestar are designed to not have any impact on the Volvo factory warranty and to reach the same quality standards as the components on regular Volvo vehicles.

As in the case of BMW M Performance parts, Volvo’s Polestar Performance Parts can be had as a complete set, or as separate components. The specialists at Polestar promise perfect integration of their components with the Volvo models they were designed for, ensuring a perfect fit and finish with every installation.

Volvo has developed the new Polestar parts with the help of the specialists at Cyan Racing. The latter is Polestar’s motorsport partner. From them, the specialists at Polestar have learned that balance and precision are essential for a predictable handling vehicle. The current Polestar range of performance parts will be available at Volvo dealers starting this April.

All of the Polestar components have been designed with endurance and performance in mind, to ensure that they will last as much as the standard parts they replace. Polestar has been developing performance components for Volvo models for the last two decades and their philosophy is “Made to Perform.”
