Please excuse us for focusing on the fact that the new range-topping Multivan Business is not aonly avaialble with the usual TDIs, but also with the 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged, direct-injected engine that can also be found on the Golf GTI.
We’ve had a really good (and practival) time when we tested the VW Multivan, so we could only imagine what this car would be like with 204 hp (the Euro spec GTI offers 210 hp). In fact, this is one of the most tuning-friendly engines on the market, with a multitude of aftermarket developers offering power upgrade kits that take the mill up to 310 hp, while promising to not produce any explosions other than the desirable ones in the cylinders.
And there’s more: you can also have the DSG double-clutch gearbox and the four-wheel-drive 4MOTION system.
Oh yes, the vehicle also comes with privacy glass, two electric sliding doors, 17-inch alloy wheels, while the cabin offers an impressive amount of goodies such as wireless Internet, a Digital Voice Enhancement systems which allows passengers to communicate among them using the van’s Dynaudio premium audio system (you could use this for pilot & copilot communication).
There’s just one more thing you need to know: the lower-positioned 140 hp TDI version of the Multivan Business starts at EUR67,595.
