Call me a fool for the color blue, but there’s something about this rare Maserati. It’s not a classic, which would regularly be my soft spot. Nevertheless, its excellent condition, low mileage and the fact that only dozens were ever created make it even more attractive. This Maserati MC12 is currently on sale, and here’s more about it.
They intended to make a handful of units, but due to the MC12s considerable success, followed up with numerous victories in the FIAs GT1 class, a second batch of 25 cars was built in 2005. High-level road use is what describes this mid-engine bad boy. A top speed of over 330 km/h (205 mph) and sprinting from o to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds capacity are also not to be ignored.
After all, the MC12 benefited from the Ferrari-Maserati's most advanced technologies and competition experience, and that is something you can feel by simply looking at it. The unit was mated to Maseratis proven six-speed Cambiocorsa transmission, offering computerize gear selection,” details Bentley Long Island auto shop, the folks in charge of the sale.
