While sedans are still quite important money-makers for Nissan, the Japanese automaker is heavily invested in SUVs and crossovers, where a lot of new customers seemingly want to spend all of their money nowadays.
Last year, they gave us a seven-seater Pathfinder, followed this year by the new Rogue. Now comes the tricky part, the 2015 Murano. This brand new model has been spotted testing in the US, completely covered up with camo. According to Nissan's time schedules, it should be ready to debut in the second half of 2015, which would mean this is a 2016 model year.

We can't really tell what's under the camouflage, but we're sure it will not leave anyone indifferent. The Rogue has shown Nissan is committed to boldness in design, and its bigger brother has never been that shy to begin with.

As for engines, Nissan is likely to continue offering a big 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6, like the one in the Maxima sedan, matched to a CVT gearbox. There will also be Murano Hybrid model, powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 15-kilowatt electric motor, with a total output of 250 hp.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
