The revamped version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee is getting closer and closer to its release, so this is a perfect time to show you how the vehicle looks with almost no camo on.
The 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee will receive a fresh front fascia, with the trademark Jeep grille becoming a bit smaller, while the overall styling cues for the front of the car loose some of the edges in favor of a few curved lines. The headlights have also been redesigned and, under the black tape, we’ll find the LED daytime running lights, while below we can see new fog lights.

Traveling to the rear of the Grand Cherokee, we see a slightly modified tailgate, as well as new taillights that rely on LED technology.

Chrysler has already confirmed that the US buyers will also be able to get a Grand Cherokee with a diesel powerplants, which is expected to be a subtly reworked version of the 237 hp and 407 lb-ft (Nm) of torque 3.0-liter V6 oil burner currently offered on Euro-spec models. The list of technical upgrades also includes an eight-speed automatic transmission, which comes from ZF.

The aforementioned images reveal both the Laredo equipment level, which comes with color-coded mirror caps and a flat grey panel surrounding the grille and the Limited trim level, which comes with chromed mirrors and a color-coded grille surround panel.
