Earlier this month, Audi’s new A3 came into focus, as a rendering of the vehicle was displayed during the 2012 2012 Consumer Electronics Show, when the three-door version of the future caw was shown.
Now, we’re back on the topic, but this time we’ll focus on the performance versions of the vehicle. As you probably know, Audi likes to sit on top of the performance segments it competes in when it comes to engine output and the future hot versions of the A3 should be no exception to this rule.
First up, we’ll have the S3, which will use the VW Group’s 2.0-liter TSI unit, with the car delivering 280 hp. However, the RS3 will top that, with the vehicle expected to keep it’s current engine, a 2.5-liter turbocharged petrol unit that will probably have its output increased to 350 hp.
