As part of the multi-season sponsorship of “The Voice”, Nissan has announced a new partnership with the lead singer of Maroon 5, who is also one of the coaches on the NBC’s Emmy Award winning show. Adam Levine will star in a series of on-air clips along several season-seven contestants. The first will debut during the November 18th episode of the show, when the artist will sing his Sugar single off the “V” album next to a Nissan GT-R.
Nissan’s marketing venture has been looking towards famous people for a while now. From sportsmen like Manchester City’s Yaya Toure or DJs like Deadmau5, the Japanese are trying to “reach beyond traditional advertising and marketing programs to connect directly with our customers.”

As part of their new partnership with the pop artist, the remaining vignettes will feature season seven artists and a variety of Nissan products that will air on November 25th and December 2nd.

Fans can win a trip to “The Voice” season finale

Nissan is also hosting the “Nissan Talent Drive”, a contest through which fans have the chance to win a trip to “The Voice” finale in Los Angeles as well as a front-of-the-line auditions pass for a future season.

According to the auto maker, fans in Nashville (November 11 at the historic Ryman Auditorium) and Los Angeles (November 17-18 at the Universal CityWalk) will have the chance to sing in the backseat of a Nissan Rogue. The top three entries chosen by a panel of judges from Nissan and “The Voice” will be posted on the show’s Facebook page. People will vote from 1-5 December and choose one ultimate winner. Facebook voters will be automatically entered to win a sweepstakes that will send one voter to the show’s finale as well.
