A tuning company from Detroit called Hoffy Automobiles has unveiled its latest concept. It is called the Mamba GT3 Street Concept and is based on a BMW M4 Coupe.
The vehicle has yet to be finalized, apparently, but the company showed the car’s design anyway. The official launch of the production version of this eccentric take on the BMW M4 is set for February 2016. Its price is undisclosed, but we expect it to be pricey since it features a lot of carbon fiber parts and some pretty extensive body modifications for the German coupe.

The tuning kit is designed to make the M4 Coupe look like a car for the FIA GT3 class without losing its road-going credentials, Autogespot reports. The guys at Casborn Styling Studio have developed the body alterations and are responsible for the carbon ceramic composite materials used by the Mamba.

The design team didn’t showcase any pictures of the interior, but the guys at Hoffy Automobiles have specified that the vehicle will get new seats, a different steering wheel and a gear shift knob covered in Alcantara. The dash features a custom HUD display while the interior also features an array of bespoke parts, including a 600-watt sorround sound system.

In contrast to other tuning jobs, this GT3 kit for the BMW M4 Coupe actually targets a horsepower increase for the German model. The makers of this kit say that the bi-turbo six-cylinder engine gets a power hike that takes it to 710 HP and a torque bump of “well over 100%” from what the stock variant provides.

Hoffy Automobiles estimates that the Mamba GT3 Street Concept is good for a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of less than 3.1 seconds, a full second less than the standard card with a manual gearbox. Top speed is an estimated 338 km/h (210 mph). As one might guess, the car’s name comes from the feared venomous black mamba snake.
