Gentlemen, geeks, car nerds, gather round for the story of the day. As you all know, playing with legos, building model cars or actually going to the park to ride a bicycle has long been obsolete with the 10 to 13 year old "in crowd".
Instead, they all play Minecraft, a seemingly simple game to which people have devoted countless days of toil.

A recent Jalopnik story brought to our attention one Minecraft engineer who over a period of four months (!!!) created a perfect replica of the Le Mans circuit. With the limited shapes of the blocks, it was never going to be a perfect, but the pits, the stands and the tower are amazing.

Before you go off calling this person a loser. Think how many hours you've spent playing Need for Speed or Grand Theft Auto with nothing to show for it. The thousands of hours that went into this Minecraft replica is granting its creator instant internet fame.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
