Land Rover Considering Baby Evoque

While the continue developing the new Range Rover lineup for 2013, which will see the launch of the long wheelbase model and the Sport, the company is also thinking of other ways to diversify their lineup.
In an interview with Automotive News Europe, Land Rover director Gerry McGovern suggested they are considering a smaller compact-sized Evoque, adding that “in a world focusing on sustainability you could argue that smaller and lighter is the way to go.”
However, we shouldn’t get all excited just yet, as this is only a possibility. Land Rover does not have engines that are smaller than the ones it uses in the Evoque, and these will likely only be developed with the upcoming Jaguar compact sedan.
