Ever since the early days of the Gumball 3000 Rally, supercar drivers running away from the police have been an internet sensation. And with plenty of adventures of the kind now floating around on the web, social media addicts have had to come up with new ways of capturing our attention.
The latest feat of the sort has been delivered via Instagram and features one of social media's favorite supercars, the Lamborghini Huracan.
However, the Huracan you'll find in the pieces of footage below has at least two things that allow it to stand out, even when compared to other go-fast machines.
For one thing, this Lambo has been supercharged. We're talking about a highly customised contraption, one that sits behind the Daily Driven Exotics social media label.
Then there's the way in which this Raging Bull was put to work, with the Lambo literally running circles around a Police-spec Ford Explorer.
While the first clip below allows you to check out the whole scene using a bird's drone's eye view, the YouTube video underneath it captures the action from inside the V10 animal - make suree you turn up the volume before reaching for the "play" button, since the soundtrack is just as intense as the visual side. However, you might want to skip to the 11:45 point of the YT clip for the cop action.
Now, before anybody points out that the shenanigan seen here seems fishy, allow us to remind you that we're looking at the kind of social media stunt that probably deserves the "prank" label.
Speaking of which, if you're looking to see Damon Fryer, the owner of this Lamborghini, engaged in a genuine interaction with an officer, the Instagram pic at the bottom of the page should cater to your needs. The vlogger doesn't seem to mind practicing his handwriting, though.
