As if its lineup of supercars doesn’t deliver enough excitement, Lamborghini has been busy in recent years drumming up new levels of enthusiasm. Last year, the Italian automaker introduced the Blancpain Super Trofeo North American spec series, and now it is making it even easier to get a Lamborghini out on the track.
For the first time ever, Lamborghini Accademia will host a performance driving school in North America from September 14-17, 2014 giving participants professional driving instruction in the Lamborghini Huracan at one of the top tracks in North America, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Better yet, you can sign up for the driving school even if you don’t own a Lamborghini or if you’ve never driven on a road course before.

All that is required is the registration fee starting at $4,995. This fee signs you up for one of the four single-day classes, which are each broken up into two parts. There is a morning session that gets participants accustomed to the Huracan and the course with exercises such as braking, accelerating, drifting and even perfecting specific sections of the track including Laguna Seca’s signature corkscrew. Later in the afternoon, all of these elements are combined with full track driving including one-on-one instruction and video coaching.

Off the track, participants will be wined and dined and provided a one-night hotel stay, but airfare isn’t included in the registration fee. Likewise, if you want to bring a non-driving guest or stay at the hotel for an extra night (which Lamborghini recommends), there are additional charges, too ($795 for a guest and $500 for the additional night at the hotel). If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, space is limited to just 24 spots available for each class.
