Ahead of the 2015 Audi Q3 going on sale this fall, Audi has finally announced pricing for its all-new entry-level crossover. Positioned in the growing segment of small luxury utility vehicles, the 2015 Audi Q3 will go up against vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, BMW X1 and Lexus NX, and it will carry a starting price of $32,500.
This starting price is for the front-wheel-drive Q3 Premium Plus, which comes standard with features such as leather seating, 12-way heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and Audi advanced key. Adding Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system to the Premium Plus trim level will come with an MSRP of $34,600, up $2,100 over the base model.
Audi has not released option pricing for the 2015 Q3, but it will offer features such as a power liftgate and a Sport package. The Sport package brings sport bucket seats, steering wheel shift paddles and Audi drive select, which lets drivers easily adjust throttle response and transmission shift points. All 2015 Audi Q3 models will be powered by a 200-hp, 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
Stepping up from the Q3 Premium Plus, the 2015 Q3 Prestige will start at $36,400 with front-wheel drive and $38,500 equipped with quattro. This model comes standard with a 14-speaker Bose surround sound audio system and the MMI Navigation Plus with Audi connect infotainment system. This latter technology delivers Wi-Fi connectivity and Google Earth maps.
Compared to its rivals, the 2015 Audi Q3 will be priced above the $30,900 BMW X1 and slightly less than the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class; Lexus has yet to announce pricing for the 2015 NX, which should debut around the same time as the Q3. Audi’s prices do not include the destination charge of $925.
