Isle of Man TT star and World Endurance Championship rider Michael Rutter crashed with his Honda CBR1000RR race bike in France, at the Dunlop Mireval test track.
Despite Rutter walking away from the crash and not feeling extremely bad, he decided to take a medical exam to make things were alright. X-ray investigations showed the exact opposite, as on of Michael's tibiae actually had a crack in the lower part, adjacent to the ankle joint. Rutter was given crutches and a temporary cast and he returned to the UK.
Michael Rutter has entered in all the solo classes for the 2013 Isle of Man TT, but his racing calendar extends throughout the year to way more competitions: the World Endurance Championship, British Superbike, North West 200 and a ton of of other road races.
We wish the Honda TT Legends rider a quick and complete recovery and we hope he's back on the bike for the North West 200 in Ireland, May 12-18.
