The French branch of Honda has commissioned a makeover for the CB1100 retro naked machine to Bad Seeds, and they delivered. It looks like the bike will be sold in France alone, and only 100 such machines will be made.
The CB1100 Bad Seeds is all about higher performance and more aggressive looks, two things which are a very nifty complement to the classic lines of the standard version of the bike. The Honda CB1100 epitomizes the evolution of the iconic CB750, and represents a new class of its own, rather than being a tribute to the past glorious machine.

Bad Seeds redesigned the rear section of the CB1100, creating a more compact look with the revised styling of the rear fender. The dual rear shocks have been replaced with piggyback Öhlins ones, in traditional bright yellow, adding a more racey look to the bike and nicely complementing the yellow spark plug wires and front calipers.

The exhaust has been replaced with a Yoshimura 4-into-1 unit, but sources say the pictured one may not be the final choice Bad Seeds could make. A retro small cowl evokes the racing looks of the 80’s bikes. The retro allure of the CB1100 was maintained and even enhanced, but the bike is still pending homologation.

After the homologation, the Bad Seeds’ CB1100 is expected in Hondas’ French dealerships really soon, with a rumored price tag of €15,590 ($21,575). For more photos of the bike head over to motoservices, as they got the privilege to ride it first.
