Hennessey Cadillac CTS-V Wagon Lays Down 1,058 WHP

There are two kinds of fast cars out there: the in-your-face mid-engined exotica type and those unassuming yet more than adequately powered performance sedans and wagons. The Cadillac CTS-V fits with the latter. It's your average performance wagon that can comfortably take your kids to school, but will also put absurd amounts of rubber on the tarmac on the way back home. It's the cool dad's best of both worlds, so to speak.
In standard form, the 6.2-liter Eaton-supercharged V8 engine chucks out 556 horsepower, but some dads are cooler than others. Queue the brand-new Hennessey-tuned CTS-V Wagon: 1,200 horsepower and 1,058 at the wheels equals some serious hoonage material.

The tuning package is similar to the 2013 Hennessey VR1200 Twin Turbo Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. Even though the Texan tuner hasn't released any other official stats yet, we assume that the engine compartment is occupied by a 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 fire-breathing monster. It rockets the Coupe from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds, so expect the Wagon to be a few tenths of a second slower.

In order to properly manage that kind of firepower, the CTS-V Coupe and most probably the Wagon as well have upgraded pistons, camshafts, fuel system and injectors, brakes, suspension and sway bars. An air-to-water intercooler might have found its way under the hood to properly let those turbos breathe. Expect the Wagon to be similarly priced to the CTS-V Coupe. The 2-door variant starts at a whopping $295,000.
