We have a new favorite color for the F83 BMW M4 Convertible. Unsurprisingly, it’s the one showcased in the adjacent photos, the one BMW calls “Frozen Silver” and that’s available only through the Individual range.
Needless to say that it’s also really expensive and it will delay the delivery of your car by at least a couple of days. However, just take a look at how good it looks like in the sunlight and you tell us it’s not worth the wait!
The M4 Convertible will go on sale towards the end of the year and it will start at $73,425 with the destination and handling fee included. For the frozen paint you see here, however, you’ll have to add at least $5,000 to that number. With some more optional features here and there, you’re looking at around at least $80,000. That’s quite steep.
You do get though a 3-liter turbocharged S55 inline 6-cylinder engine making 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque for that money and a beautiful looking ride that can drop its top. On top of that, you should know that reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) comes as easy as counting to 4. 4.4 to be more precise as that’s the time the car needs to reach the benchmark speed when fitted with the automatic 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Would that be enough for this price range? Well, looking over the offerings coming from the competitors, it’s more than enough but taking a step back and really thinking about that sum you might change your mind. It’s a beautiful car though, nonetheless.
