You guys probably remember Canadian DJ Deadmau5 and his famous Nyan Cat Wrapped Ferrari 458. Well, Zimmerman just posted an image of the car wearing nothing but a white color quoting “RIP Purrari.” So now we’re assuming two things: the car is still his and it lost the the blue wrap.
Canadian electronic DJ Joel Thomas Zimmerman is famous for his music, but people also know him for the great enthusiast the guy has for cars. And considering he also affords mainly any ride, Deadmau5 is now driving a McLaren 650S. Yes, the same car only few people in this world actually own.
However, before he bought the car, he has been driving a blue Ferrari 458 wrapped in Nyan Cat for years. It’s the same car he won this year’s Spirit of Gumball 3000 with, so there are also some emotions involved.
After the famous rally, Deadmau5 decided he’d sell the car and weeks after letting his fans know about it, he posted an image of a brand new McLaren 650S finished in white. Problem is, know we see him posing next to the exotic he drove, which means the DJ couldn’t find the strength to actually sell the car. Instead, he took the exotic to the shop where, as you can see in the picture, it lost its Nyan Cat wrap.
In case you folks never got the chance to ride with a Ferrari 458, we’ll assure you it’s one of the world’s greatest feelings petrol head can get, so we totally agree with Deadmau5 not selling his sportscar. The only question left to ask is whether a new wrap is being put on or it’s just going to stay like that, all white.
