The new generation of Chrysler’s 300C improves on its predecessor, which according to Jeremy Clarkson was styled by Al Capone, in every single way. So, the new 300C, which is also on sale in Europe as the Lancia Thema, will go on sale in China on June 25.
When the first generation car was launched in China, it cost around 300,000yuan ($47,000 / €37,000) and it undercut its main, German rivals considerably. However, its lower price did not help it to sell very well, so Chrysler have high hopes for this new, more upmarket and more grown-up 300C on the Chinese market.

The car is set to cost around 500,000yuan ($78,000 / €63,000), considerably more than before, and it may just steal buyers away from the Germans, with its new (and improved but still Al Capone-esque) styling, Pentastar 3.6-liver V6 and oddball factor.
