Of course, BMW’s latest commercial for the S 1000 RR couldn’t pass unnoticed, especially since the bike is doing some really cool magic in it.
With currently almost 1.75 million clicks the S 1000 RR Dinner Spot became the most successful BMW film on YouTube ever. The short-clip was even awarded in the category “Web and Mobile” at the Spotlight International Advertising Film Festival in Mannheim earlier this month.
The commercial spot that attracted so many visitors in just two weeks since it has been uploaded on BMW’s Youtube Channel is about a well-known magic trick, where a magician pulls the tablecloth from a small table all set up with china without damaging anything.
In “Dinner for RR” the BMW S 1000 RR does the trick, but even better. Thanks to its acceleration of 2.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, the bike is able to pull the tablecloth even from a huge, impressing banquet leaving all the china and glasses intact.
The motorcycle is powered by a 999cc in-line four-cylinder engine that develops 175 bhp, with the dry weight rated at 183 kg. The bike is available in three different colors, as it follows: Mineral Silver metallic, Acid Green metallic, Thunder Grey metallic and a mix of Alpine White – Lupine Blue – Magma Red (the colors of the BMW Motorrad racing logo).
