That seems to be the idea behind their newest set of accessories, done in the same fashion as their latest automobiles, the i range. Using sustainable and modern materials, the accessories look good and their design is extremely close to the overall idea behind the i3 and i8.
Therefore, BMW claims to have used leather tanned using olive leaves and a felt-look fabric made out of recycled PET to create a BMW i Urban Mega Shopper. This is actually a bag with blue chord handles that has the specific, i logo on it.
The same materials were used to create a BMW i Laptop Bag, a BMW i Notebook and BMW i Ballpoint Pen, all of them shown in the gallery below. However, that's not the only area where the Bavarian tentacles extended to.
The BMW i Solar Charger allows you to mold the sun's energy to your own will. The charger, built in the same i design, is very compact and allows you to refill various devices like mobile phones and MP3 players on the go. All you need is sunlight.
Other i accessories include: a BMW i USB Stick, BMW i Lanyard and a BMW i Keyfob, for all those proud i car owners. The collection will be launched in October at selected retailers and online at www.bmw-shop.de and prices range from EUR99 (USD133) for the Shopper to EUR15 (USD20) for the Lanyard and Ballpoint Pen.
