A decade from now when we’re going to run out of fuel to burn and governments will tax us for every gram that comes over 50 per kilometer, we’re going to look back at this video in shock and awe, like it's the lost glory of the "man".
There’s absolutely no reason for a modern mode of transportation to have an engine bigger than 1.5 liters or roar through its exhaust like a lion. I will agree with that, but it’s like saying there’s no reason for supermodels to be payed millions and be more beautiful than average housewives.
Our favorite clip this Sunday is of two macho machines, revving their engines to see who has what it takes to wow the internet. The outright winner has to be the Audi, which is fighting an unfair battle thanks to a slightly bigger engine with more cylinders. If we remember correctly, Shmee’s V10 also has a custom QuickSilver exhaust on it, fitted last year.
The shots were taken in Monaco, where the Audi R8 V10 and Alfa were part of photo session.
