The fact that the 2015 Ford Mustang will be a little bit different in Europe is no surprise really, but we’re very anxious to find out what that actually means. While Ford has yet to share something the official way, Mustang engineer Frank Davis confirmed that the pony will get a stiffer suspension in Europe.
According to Jalopnik, Davis didn’t say by how much, but added that the 2015 Mustang would benefit from more grip on the road. He also confirmed what we already knew: Europe won’t get the entry-level V6 pony, only the 2.3-liter four-cylinder and the 5.0-liter V8. This is available for other markets as well, as the V6 is supposed to be US exclusive.
Ford says the 2015 Ford Mustang will become available in “late 2014”, but there’s no word on when it will actually go on sale in Europe.
