BMW is currently testing the LCI version of the F10 M5. Since the car is turning 3 next year, the German company decided to give it a slight mid-generational facelift.
Along with slight visual and design changes, Autobild claims that the LCI M5 will also be available with a Competition Package, similar to the one found on M3s. This upgraded version of the M5 will be quite different than the stock one.
Even though the numbers are not drastically improved, the slight increase in power will definitely be felt on the road and the race track. According to the German publication, the ZCP M5 will have 20 extra HP and the maximum speed will be increased to 305 km/h (190 mph).
Further improvements include a super sporty suspension package, a new steering wheel, Carbon Ceramic Brakes, enhanced steering and competition wheels. The upgraded car will also, most likely, be faster to 100 km/h (62 mph) and do the sprint in under 4.3 seconds.
