The new EcoBoost-powered Shelby that made its debut at the 2013 NAIAS is not a Taurus or a Explorer. The famous Ford tuner has instead targeted the 2013 Ford Focus ST, the first hot hatchback they’ve offered.
The Shelby package costs $14,995 and will be built in a strictly limited run of 500 per year. It adds features like a new ventilated hood, hydro-carbon grille inserts and a rear spoiler.
Shelby is also proposing three different graphics packages with stickers ranging from semi-traditional to fake racer style.
On the performance side of things, the Focus ST gains upgrades to the suspension, brakes, exhaust, wheels and tires.
As for the interior, the tuner has added a Shelby shifter and brand stitching on the seat covers. To find out how your Focus ST would look with a Shelby package, check out their official configurator.
