2010 Subaru Legacy to Debut in New York
This may be the first sign that the speculation may be actually true so, in an attempt to keep the model hidden from our eyes, the company requested the website to delete the post. However, the whole website is now 100 percent down so nobody knows for sure what actually happened there.
For those of you who forgot, the 2010 Subaru Legacy was unveiled for the first time to the general public at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in January in the form of a concept model.
Even though not official yet, it may seem like the 2010 Legacy is going to boast multiple engine configurations, including an entry-level 2.5-liter 4-cylinder unit and a 3.6-liter H6 version. There will be two transmission types included in the range, a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
The aforementioned source says the 2010 Legacy will come in two trims, GT Premium and Limited, which will rely on more or less exclusive features. In case the model will be indeed displayed at the New York Auto Show, sales are expected to begin this summer, with first models expected to reach their buyers in late 2009.
Again, this is only pure speculation so we're still waiting for an official statement issued by Subaru. Until then, here are some pics with the concept.
