Ferrari has come forth with what will surely be known as one of the most desired cars in the next decade or so. This is the F12 Berlinetta that made its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show, and the big story here is if you’re talking Italian horsepower (that’s PS), the V12 in this car offers 740 horsepower, while the Lamborghini Aventador only has 700. When people realize this, will the stealth bomber still be a cult car?
Of course it will, but we have a sneaking suspicion Ferrari got a good few tens of orders from the Arab word.

The spaceframe chassis of the car features a combination of 12 different aluminum alloys and we would have loved an exotic frame, the curb weight of just 1,525 kg is good enough. But how have they done that really? Well, in typical Italian fashion, the car actually has a lot of carbon, even though they didn't officially focus on the material. You can see just how omnipresent it is in he engine bay.

Also, we’re going to miss the strange aerodynamic buttresses of the 599 GTB Fiorano, but this new nose has something of a spaceship mixed with a stingray, or at least that’s the impression we got in Geneva. Styling wise, the looks seem to borrow from the F1 cars, especially round the back.

The car is thus a technological marvel and with a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of just 3.1 seconds it’s also a proper supercar as well. Let’s just hope it doesn’t catch fire on the first week.
