The classy Insignia first revealed during the 2008 London Motor Show is the best example of Opel's commitment to deliver affordable style and performance packages. With a design inspired by the GTC concept and a planned release of seven engines, the Insignia has certainly found a niche segment. The vehicle is packed with "smart" equipment such as the Adaptive 4x4 optimum-torque distribution system, Adaptive Front lighting, FlexRide chassis and a myriad of traction control and safe breaking elements. Power output ranges from 115 hp to 260 hp, the last being available only with the choice of a V6. Starting from 2009 a special ecoFLEX 2.0L diesel engine was introduced, achieving remarkable fuel consumption and under 140 g/km of CO2.
