It's been a long time since BMW released the F30 3 Series and the world's been waiting for the M3 Sedan for quite a while now. Usually BMW presents its M version for a car around a year after it entered production.
For the F30 they made an exception. The 3er was officially launched near the end of 2011. That means that in late 2012 we should've seen the first Concept car version of the F80 M3.

However, we didn't get squat. No Concept car, not even a sketch. Things are fishy at the moment, but we know for sure that they are testing the new M3 and testing it hard.

We've seen it racing down Nurburgring and we've seen it in spyshots but never as naked as this time. It's almost uncovered and, by the looks of it, it's going to be an M4 with 4 doors.

The front bumper and the hood have similar lines. The camouflage on the front fenders seems to be guarding an air breather, just like on the M4 and the mirrors (despite the stickers) seem to be exactly like on the Concept they revealed at Pebble Beach and we love 'em.

At the back, the taillights are completely uncovered whilst the rear bumper looks strikingly similar to the one for the Coupe. One thing we didn't get was covering up the roof: we know it's going to be made out of carbon fibre, why hide it?
