Waiting for the F80 M3 is a gruesome task, especially since it should've already been here. The F30 was launched over a year ago and the wait is killing us.
Apparently it's also torturing Bimmerpost and its members that are relentlessly looking for any kind of new information about the first turbocharged M3. Actually, the fact that this engine will also be powering the new M4 might be one of the reasons the Sedan is taking so long to be launched but that's another topic of discussion.

Looking over the VIN for one of the F80 M3s tested a couple of months back, they noticed that one prototype was wearing a color dubbed as "Yas Marina Blue", a color supposedly named after the Yas Marina Circuit, home of the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix.

Another interesting detail is the name of the 3-liter turbocharged engine under the bonnet, dubbed S55 that is apparently developing 310 kW or 415 HP, a rather disappointing amount for the M3 enthusiasts out there.

Judging by the photos of the Yas Marina Circuit, the color seems pretty interesting but until we see it on the car, we can't really say what's what.
