KAHN PORSCHE Cayenne Diesel Review

Tuning your Cayenne at Kahn can mean adding value to the work of Porsche designers and engineers or making their efforts to create the best car in its class useless, depending on which boxes you tick. First of all. you have to know that a fully loaded Kahn Cayenne like the one we tested will set you back GBP69,875 (EUR87,325 or USD109,529 at the current exchange rate).

The body kit transforms the car, bringing it some new lines that could have been there in the first place, but were left out due to the fact that it had to also please the conservative customers. However, if you're willing to use your car to blitz the Autobahn, look for a tuner that does more aerodynamic research for its exterior bits and pieces, but if you drive it at normal speeds, it will all be fine. In fact, it will be more than fine, as the refined styling cues brought by Kahn literally turn heads, as you can see in the image above.

We really liked the sports exhaust, even though it doesn't come with sound-controlling valves (Blue Flame, the provider is working to release such a feature) is well balanced. It manages to radically transform the sound of the engine and boosts the car's feel-good factor altogether.

As for the wheels, these do recommend the car better than any salesman could ever do, but don't go above 20 inches or you'll confine the car to ultra-smooth roads only and we know that these can be difficult to find sometimes.

In terms of interior goodies, if you go for Kahn's offer, you'll get similar quality to what Porsche comes with, but you'll also get to personalize the cabin. In addition to that, the tuner  offers some items that manage to offer a pretty important update on the plush scale, but in a delicate way, such as the rev dials and the aluminum pedals, or the leather on top of the instrument cover.

In the end, it's all about the price you pay for being special - you have to know how far to go - and we're not talking about money here.
