ZZ Top and Disturbed Confirmed for the 2010 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

Though most motorcycles are still hibernating in garages across the country, US bikers are already making plans for the summer, and the Legendary Buffalo Chip decided to help them take the best decision. With six months left until the event, preparations for the 2010 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally have already begun, and this year’s musical act lineup promises to highly entertain all the rally-goers.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees ZZ Top will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary next year and are looking forward to first celebrate this musical achievement with the crowd that will gather at the Legendary Buffalo Chip. Fans will likely be glad to sing 'She's Got Legs' once again with the blues rock Texan trio.

Another band that will rock the ground is Disturbed, who
have sold over 11 million albums worldwide since their inception in 1996, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200.

Other highlights of this year's Sturgis Rally Week is Michael Lichter's 10th Annual Motorcycles as Art Exhibit. The exhibition will be showcasing the works of the most influential master builders and artists in motorcycling. Last year's 2009 exhibit entitled "Rebel Rousers- Motorcycle Icons that Inspired Us to Ride" enjoyed a great deal of success, but this year's theme is soon to be announced.

The Third Annual Legends Ride has also been confirmed for Sturgis Rally Week 2010. The Legends Ride is scheduled for Monday, August 9 with details still being worked out.

Once again, more than 500 riders will take the 500-mile historic Deadwood, SD to the Legendary Buffalo Chip, with all the proceeds from the ride benefiting two local Black Hills charities including the Black Hills Children's Home and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame.
