From the spec sheet of the Zero sheet we found out that its lightweight twin spar frame was made by using aircraft grade aluminium, and all the other parts were also engineered to make it as light and as quick as it can get. Helping the bike measure up to the customers expectations is its low center of gravity, which offers better maneuverability and responsiveness.
Moreover, those of you who are environmentally preoccupied with will be pleased to know that the Zero DS is not only a zero emissions vehicle, but is completely non-toxic and almost 100% recyclable.
The power pack consists of lithium ion cells is individually controlled during charge and discharge. The onboard charger integrates into this system and uses a specially developed charge profile to optimize the power pack’s recharge time. Using isolated power systems the Zero DS uses a standard 12 volt current to run the dash, lighting and other on board accessories.
The Zero DS is available for purchase exclusively through the Zero Motorcycles website and is priced at $9,950.
