Zero Motorcycles have won the European Electric Motorcycle of the Year award at the recent electric vehicles convention Clean Week 2020 in Belgium.
It's the third time in a row when Zero are coming back home with this title. The first place went to the Zero S, as the 2013 model boasts a range of up to 137 miles (220 km), a top speed of 95 mph (153 km/h) and can be recharged in around 1 hour, using the CHAdeMO accessory charger. The dual-sport Zero DS received the second place.

Now, there is one interesting detail about this contest, whose jury was formed by 12 specialist journalists: Zero was the only manufacturer competing, as MotorBiker reports.

Regardless of the particular reasons other e-bike manufacturers had for skipping this event, this gives Zero an unexpected advantage over their competitors, and a allows them to enjoy a solid foothold in Europe, and it grows stronger by the year. Brammo, why you no come out and play?
