It happens in Yemen, and it's happening because of the politicians: a 5-day ban has been issued, claiming the increased security needs during a national dialogue conference in the capital Sana'a.
Now, a 5 day motorcycle ban is quite a stupid joke and is one thing people don't take kindly on. Even more, one doesn't really have to use motorcycles for daily commuting to be offended by such a silly thing.
The fact that some politicians don't want to see bikes swarming around the city (just like in any given day throughout the year) is impolite and highly offensive, given that most of the motorists are paying takes which in turn, pay for politicians' wages.
Just like anyone in their right mind, the riders in Sana'a are ignoring the ban and started protesting... riding their bikes at large assemblies on the streets, generating quite the opposite result of the stupid ban.
Yemen riders, it's probably time for a local branch of the Motards en Colere, as it looks like your politicians are not valuing you too much and they could use some good old poking. Via MotorBiker.
