Allow us to introduce the new-age Dodge Challenger example in the adjacent images. Friends call it 834,589, not because it’s in some bureaucratic system, but thanks to the fact that this is how many miles its AutoTrader ad states the car has on its odo.
The Hemi-gifted machine is currently listed on AutoTrader, having racked up those miles since 2006. By the way, this was the first production year for the new Charger. That’s about 104,000 miles per year folks, but if you check out the actual photo of the odometer, a much more reasonable 83,489 mileage shows up. This is probably just a mistake, but hey, a Charger is good anyway.
The Charger wants to trade hands for US$ 14,995 and this seems like a reasonable price for the mileage. Regardless of that, the Dodge comes dressed in Go Mango, while the cabin features a Gray leather finish.
And for those worrying about the stress put on the car by all that tarmac eating, the ad states that it is fitted with new brakes and new tires. Judging by the ad’s photos, this Charger seems to be in good condition, inside and out.
As for the actual muscle, those R/T badges mean there’s a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 under the bonnet, delivering 340 hp and 390 lb-ft (475 Nm) of torque. Speaking of badges, there are a host of other emblems around the cars, but we just ignored these. If you’re interested in this muscle sedan, you can ask the dealer about them. Oh and while you’re at it, tell them to do something about that mileage.
