Woman Wins 2010 Mini Cooper in Aaron - HP Sweepstakes

Following a recent sweepstakes put together by Aaron’s and Hewlett Packard (HP) in the United States and Canada, Cynthia Norlin of Glendale, Arizona won a 2010 Mini Cooper, valued at $20,000+. According to Aaron’s, there were more than 4,000 HP Mini Netbooks leased or purchased at Aaron's locations during the sweepstakes.

Moreover, the first prize winner, to be announced, will receive a brand new HP Touch Smart Laptop valued at $1,439. The second prize winner, Steve Hogg from Texas, will receive a Compaq Presario Laptop valued at $899.

"This is the largest single grand prize Aaron's has awarded in many years," Ken Butler, Aaron's Chief Operating Officer, said in a release. "This holiday season was especially tough for many families, so we wanted to do a little something extra that would spark excitement and cheer. Now three families have new gifts that are not only fun, but practical for the whole family.  As our customers like to say, 'Everyone's a Lucky Dog at Aaron's'."

Norlin was allowed to select the color of her new Mini Cooper and went with Midnight Black Metallic.

"I was stunned when I learned I was the grand prize winner of Aaron's Mini Cooper Sweepstakes," Norlin said. "I didn't even realize I was being automatically entered when I bought the HP Mini Netbook, and I never dreamed I would be getting two very different kind of 'Minis' for the price of one.  Plus the timing couldn't be better. My car just broke down, and my husband and I were waiting to get our tax refund before shopping for a new one. Aaron's really did make our dreams come true this Christmas."
