Monaco may be the European capital of supercars and hypercars, but the urban landscape of the place certainly doesn’t recommend it for driving activities. The streets are narrow, loaded with tourists, as well as with about 1,000 other hyperpowered machine drivers per square meter.
Heck, Monte Carlo was the scene of the first LaFerrari customer crash earlier this summer. Not everybody is an F1 pilot that can roam around Monaco with full confidence and get away with it.
In fact, if we take the word of the guy who uploaded the clip below, it was overconfidence that recently caused a woman to kiss the Monaco curb in her Bugatti Veyron.
As the woman exits a roundabout, she carefully approaches the sidewalk, then, as the car gets dangerously close to the threat, she decides to go for it. The result? The Veyron gets its front apron skirt scratched, with the car stopping just short of having its rim damaged.
For those wondering, the Veyron has what we see as a normal turning radius, given its characteristics. That’s 39.3 feet (11.98 meters) to be more precise, only 2-3 feet larger than that of an Audi A5, for instance. Still, we can’t... overlook the width of the hypercar, as well as the less than inspiring visibility.
