The unique paint scheme on the Hornet has been inspired by Honda’s association with Sony Pictures, ahead of the launch of the forthcoming new 3D action film, ‘The Green Hornet’, based on 1960’s Marvel comic book series about a masked crime-fighting duo, the Green Hornet and his side-kick, Kato.
The Green Hornet was then made into a radio series and a television show and it was this TV show that launched the acting career of Bruce Lee, who played Kato.
Sony Pictures has now made ‘The Green Hornet’ into a feature film starring Seth Rogan, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz and Christoph Waltz and, this anticipated blockbuster will screen in cinemas across the world from January 2011.
The one-off CB600FA Hornet is also fitted with a number of Genuine Honda Accessories to include a rear seat cowl, fly screen, rear wheel hugger and undertray kit, worth RRP GBP490.
