It's really awesome to see engineers and designers sometime syncing their minds with the riders... and in such moments glorious bikes are born, the like of the amazing 2009 Honda CB1100R concept.
Bringing together the best of the old-school design and the modern-era technology produces surprisingly beautiful designs... and combining it with the racing heritage could make things even more interesting.

2013 brings a new old-school bike in the shape of the CB1100, a retro street bike powered by an in-line 4-cylinder air-cooled unit, a perfect platform for a HRC-themed concept. With 1140cc and automatically-enriched injection circuit, some further tweaks could up the power response and make the bike more nimble, for a more thrilling ride.

For a totally retro look, the actual frame could be maintained, even though some more creativity would never hurt. There are alot of bike designers willing to put their imagination to the test and come up with a modern frame evoking the past racing spirit, so Honda could even launch a public contest for such a project.

And with a limited run, premium HRC paint and some other nifty details, such a bike would definitely make a lot of lucky guys reach for the checkbooks, and leave the others sighing with desire.
