Wiesmann GT MF4-S to Debut at Geneva 2010

German car manufacturer Wiesmann announced it is preparing its latest sports car for the 80th Motor Show in Geneva. The new Wiesmann GT MF4-S to be introduced to the public for the first time next month completes the product range of the sports cars manufacturer from Duelmen. The new Gran Tourismo comes with the known high-revving 4.0 litre V8 engine from the Roadster MF4-S which delivers 420 hp (309 kW). Visually, the new GT MF4-S differs in some design and aerodynamic details from the GT MF4. The rear shows a speed dependent slide out wing which can be also controlled manually. The front part standard bi-xenon headlamps and a new front spoiler. The GT MF4 with 367 hp (270 kW) will also be available, with no upgrades for the moment. Visitors will find the Wiesmann booth at the Geneva Automobil-Salon between March 5-15 in hall 1, stand 1234. As it did at previous auto shows, Wiesmann will have all its handmade sports cars on display on 160 square meters. The range also includes the Roadster MF5, first presented at the 2009 IAA in Frankfurt last September, when the manufacturer also built a GT MF4 live at the event. With a price tag set at 189,500 euros, the MF5 will be built in a limited run of only 55 units. autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
