Wiesmann Roadster MF4 Prices to Start from 128,900 Euros

Wiesmann today unveiled a few more details about the Roadster MF4, the company's new roadster model expected to be displayed in March at the Geneva Motor Show. With no official photo showing the vehicle but a single teaser giving us a glimpse into how the future will look like, Wiesmann today said the roadster will cost from 128,900 euros, with the top version developing 420 horsepower and priced at 137,900 euros. Maximum speed for the flagship model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, with top speed rated at 300 km/h.

Earlier specifications claimed Wiesmann will feature a redesigned and more aerodynamic chassis plus airbags for both the driver and front passengers. Along with other safety features, the airbags will come as standard, auto motor und sport reported in early February.

Even though there's nothing official yet, rumors claim Wiesmann will offer two engine configurations, with different maximum outputs but both focused on fuel economy and emissions. The 4.8-liter BMW V8 unit for example delivers 367 horsepower with maximum torque reaching 490 Nm. The other 4.0-liter V8 powerplant however will release 420 horsepower.

As mentioned, only a few details are available at this point but new information is expected to be released before Geneva, with most automakers planning to present their goodies before the start of the show.
